The variety, available recently in the form of seeds, has for many years enjoyed an excellent reputation among hashish producers thanks to its thick flowers, a shiny layer of rich seed glands and the sweet aroma of citrus fruits. Maple Leaf Indica contains plant genes from the noble Afghan gene pool that gave rise to many important hybrid strains developed by Sensi Seeds and which constitute one of the surviving strains of the original Mazar-I-Sharif hashish.
