The seeds available in our store are very diverse. In this category, we primarily present seeds of photoperiod strains, meaning full-season varieties, but with a slight twist.
By crossing autoflowering strains with full-season varieties, growers in countries where cannabis cultivation is legal have achieved a new level of quality. This quality has taken the form of fast-flowering strains, also known as fast versions or semi-autos.
However, it’s important to note that semi-autos do not flower automatically. They require specific lighting conditions and changes in light exposure to trigger flowering. Semi-auto simply means a seed that contains the genes of both autoflowers and full-season plants, but it’s still a photoperiod strain. So how is it different from autoflowers and full-season varieties?
What are fast outdoor strains?
Fast-flowering strains – this is the best way to describe these seeds in Polish. Fast version strains are used by growers in Western countries for outdoor cultivation, under the sky, not under lights. Although they can be grown indoors, it’s in the right soil and climate conditions that these strains truly show their full potential.
Autoflowers bloom on their own. Full-season strains mature at the end of the season (usually in October), and semi-autos? These strains in the Netherlands, Czech Republic, California, or Uruguay flower much shorter than full-season varieties. This means that growers in these countries can expect their harvests about one or two weeks earlier than with full-season strains. Sometimes, the period is shorter by three weeks, but that’s a rare case for only a few strains.
Fast-flowering strains are ready for harvest as early as September. And that’s how you should understand the term semi-auto. For beginners, this term might be confusing, which is why we've provided the correct definition here. At the same time, we remind you that the seeds in our store are intended for collection purposes only. If you're a fan of collecting fast outdoor strains, these seeds will be a great addition to your collection.

In countries where cannabis cultivation is legal, fast outdoor sativa strains can grow up to two meters. Their leaves have long, slender fingers, and the buds are not as compact as indicas, but they are long and equally abundant.
Indicas, on the other hand, are a bit shorter, measuring between one and 1.5 meters. Their leaves are shorter and wider, and the buds are denser and coated with resin rich in active ingredients.
Hybrid strains growing in countries with legal cultivation may vary in height. For example, Durban Poison is a beautiful, pure sativa that can grow outdoors to an astonishing three or even four meters!
