What is Autoflowering Sativa?

It’s important to note that all the seeds in this category are feminized. What does this mean? In countries where cannabis cultivation is legal, these seeds grow exclusively into female plants. These are the ones that flower, producing a harvest rich in active compounds, including aromatic terpenes and cannabinoids like THC, CBD, and many more. THC is particularly abundant in these plants, making female plants the most desired by growers from the Netherlands, many U.S. states, and even Thailand.
But what are feminized autoflowering sativa seeds? These seeds grow into plants (in countries where cultivation is legal) that do not need a specific photoperiod or changes in light to start flowering and producing a large amount of active compounds. They flower when they reach the right age, typically between 8 and 12 weeks. Sometimes shorter, sometimes longer, depending on the specific strain.

Sativa plants that are classified as autoflowers don’t grow too tall, but that doesn’t mean they are as small as other cannabis strains. They often exceed one meter in height, sometimes even reaching up to 150 centimeters. These plants are well-branched, and their leaves have long, slender fingers. The flowers, or buds, are elongated and less compact than those of indicas, but just as rich in yield.
