The origin of Amnesia Haze

The origins of the Amnesia Haze strain are not entirely clear. It is likely that Amnesia Haze seeds were developed from a cross between Afghani, Thai/Laos, Jamaican, and Hawaiian strains. It's unknown which specific varieties were used to create this remarkable strain, and it's also uncertain who the creator of this strain is.

The most probable lead points to David Paul Watson, an American breeder who may have developed this strain in the early 1990s. However, the strain only became recognizable in the early 2000s when it started appearing under the name Amnesia Haze in Dutch and Spanish seed banks.

The crowning of its legendary status occurred in 2004 when the strain won first place at the Cannabis Cup. Since then, its popularity among both seasoned connoisseurs and occasional marijuana users only grew.

Effects of Amnesia Haze

As previously mentioned, Amnesia Haze is primarily a sativa strain. It has a significant but not overwhelming addition of indica genes, likely around 30%, which contributes to its stimulating effects. This makes the user:
